About Kalli

Kalli Siamidou, originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, was born and raised in a musical environment. Music and dance were both very present in her life and that inspired her to pursue a career as a dance teacher and choreographer early in life. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports Science, she moved to New York, where she studied various dance forms, acting and singing at Peridance Capezio Dance Center.

In 2016, she joined Marisa Michelson’s Constellation Chor ensemble, a group of composers, singers, actors and dancers that explore the interaction of mind/body/spirit practices with virtuosic singing through improvisation.

Kalli Siamidou founded Wedding Dance Vows in 2020, a company that helps couples have the first dance of their dreams on their wedding day.

She is also a Co-Founder of Cucala Dance Company , a co-op that goes beyond the traditional dance school by creating a community for people to be themselves and experience dance through a multicultural lens.
